South Suburban was founded in 1972 by my mother, Shirley Prout. We started out with 3 employees in a small office with a multi-line switchboard and wrote messages down by hand!
I purchased the business from my mother in 2000. We now operate a state-of-the-art phone system with a variety of options. Through all of these technological advances, the thing that has always stayed the same are the values that my mother started the business with: keeping it a locally, family-owned company, and offering personalized options and excellent customer service second-to-none. Many of our original customers are still with us!
We take the time to learn about each customer’s needs, so that we are able to give the same personalized service you would receive from a receptionist or secretary in your own office. We are willing to do those extra little things that are so necessary in giving this type of service. My staff of Telephone Receptionists are well trained and experienced.
We consider ourselves an extension of our customers’ business; we are their virtual front desk and we are willing to go the extra mile to deliver an outstanding customer service experience.
